Application / Problem to solve:

“Our customer, who operates in the medical device manufacturing sector, needed a reliable way to bring data from a growing number of machines and work cells into SCADA and their MES. Each machine needed a standardised, ruggedised connection point that could sit inside an industrial enclosure on the plant floor.

Solution:
We designed a small IoT panel built around a polycarbonate enclosure, with a W&T LAN-USB transfer box (part no. 53763) at its core, providing one Ethernet port and one USB port per unit.”
